Broadstock celebrate with The Rossendale Trust

By broadstock, 02/12/2014 - 09:59

Part of the support we are able to give the team at The Rossendale Trust is to have the pleasure of Nick's company every Tuesday.

Nick works within our assembly team and is a legend in the world of making drawer boxes - these are always in demand, need to be built to a high standard and have a minimum guarantee of 5 years.

Nick comes to Broadstock, gets his head down and always joins in with whatever is going on at the time.

Broadstock invest in new ECOGATE System

By broadstock, 21/11/2014 - 12:02

In many manufacturing facilities, as little as 50% of dust-creating machinery may be in operation at any given time, but dust extraction plant usually runs at full capacity, with a fixed fan speed, all of the time.

The result is an extraction system which is likely to be consuming more electricity than all of the lights and machinery put together.

Broadstock's response - we have recently installed the proven ECOGATE 'Extraction-on-Demand' system which will ultimately reduce our electricity consumption and save money!

How does it work?

Broadstock complete the NSPCC Snowdon Moonlight Challenge

By broadstock, 08/09/2014 - 14:26

We are delighted that the brave Broadstock volunteers successfully completed the NSPCC Snowdon Moonlight Challenge on Saturday 6th September!

Snowdonia National Park in North Wales is synonymous with beautiful, rugged landscapes and wonderful trekking and outdoor pursuits.  The highest mountain in England and Wales at 1085m, its Welsh name is Yr Wyddfa, reputedly the burial place of a mythical giant.  A popular summit trek by day-time, it forms a real challenge by night, requiring real determination and stamina.

On the night.....
