Completion of £700k contract as Tata Technologies opens its European HQ

By broadstock, 14/09/2017 - 14:31

Tata Technologies’ brand new European HQ is now open for business following the successful completion of our contract to provide the global engineering consultant with their new, innovative interiors.

Tasked with creating a modern, clean and inspiring work environment, we designed and provided furniture for all the internal space at the state-of-the-art offices in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. Work began on the £700,000 project in April 2017.

Working closely with the interior designers, Thuja Design, we delivered design and  furniture consultancy for the internal space, which runs over four floors, providing offices with bespoke desking, break-out areas, and one-to-one, small and large group meeting rooms as well as a café and social space.  The main aspiration was to create an environment that supported diverse ways of working, with every element of the interior encouraging creativity, innovation and pride in the brand, with original furniture solutions being at the heart of this strategy.

Lee Woodall, Broadstock project manager said: “We’re delighted to have worked on this prestigious project. It was genuinely exciting working together to create an inspiring environment which reflects the design excellence of Tata Technologies.”

Rob Robson, European Innovation and Development Centre Programme director, from Tata Technologies added: “We wanted a workplace that was an attractive, effective and inspiring environment that enabled collaboration and innovation, while fostered a sense of pride. Broadstock understood that from day one. They impressed with their knowledge, expertise and professionalism and it was a real pleasure working with them.”

Broadstock was chosen from a short list of five suppliers due to its in-house design and manufacturing expertise, as well as an ability to leverage existing relationships with an extensive supply chain.

The work was carried out in conjunction with Birmingham based interior design consultancy, Thuja Design. Chris Orton, the company’s managing director said: “Broadstock is one of our leading consultants, due to the team’s talent, dedication and service. They can very quickly get under the skin of a brief and work hard to build relationships. This tested approach results in the development of winning schemes that deliver for the client on many levels”.
