Sometime at the start of the Treacle Market back in 2011 Bob Jenner borrowed some space on a friends stall to sell a few old books that were taking up valuable shelf space, the £2-3 made were donated to East Cheshire Hospice (a project close to his heart as sadly both his brother and two close friends had spent the last few weeks of their lives in their care).

Part of the support we are able to give the team at The Rossendale Trust is to have the pleasure of Nick's company every Tuesday.
Nick works within our assembly team and is a legend in the world of making drawer boxes - these are always in demand, need to be built to a high standard and have a minimum guarantee of 5 years.
Nick comes to Broadstock, gets his head down and always joins in with whatever is going on at the time.
Broadstock are proud to support the Macclesfield and District Live at Home Scheme, whose aim is to provide services to reduce the isolation of older people and to prevent referrals to statutory services.
Macclesfield and District Live at Home Scheme was set up in 1999 and is part of the MHA Care Group, which a registered charity that provides care, accommodation and support services for older people throughout Britain.
We are delighted that the brave Broadstock volunteers successfully completed the NSPCC Snowdon Moonlight Challenge on Saturday 6th September!
Snowdonia National Park in North Wales is synonymous with beautiful, rugged landscapes and wonderful trekking and outdoor pursuits. The highest mountain in England and Wales at 1085m, its Welsh name is Yr Wyddfa, reputedly the burial place of a mythical giant. A popular summit trek by day-time, it forms a real challenge by night, requiring real determination and stamina.
On the night.....
